I am not sure where to look for a possible explanation and solution to this annoying problem. It has the Windows Security Essentials running all the time, Superantispyware application, ad-aware browsing protection.

It is running Windows7 and i do multitask a lot, but is it normal that i have to reboot the computer regularly to get it to be at least normal speed? Things can get so slow that i might need 20 minutes to close all the programs (say i am working with 10 at once) before restarting. I find that when i work with it for a while, it tends to become more and more sluggish, and often shows 'not responding' for several seconds (sometimes up to a minute) but comes back to working fine. I did all that, and although now, the temperature is monitored and not overheating (and yes, it DID need a cleaning), the computer is still as sluggish.
